Julian De Narvaez Print Campaign
Something has been brewing...
Over the last few months, Julian De Narvaez has been tasked by the BMB agency to create these stunningly beautiful illustrations for Taylors of Harrogate's new fruit and herbal range.
Taking inspiration from Cicely Mary Barker's timelessly classic Flower Fairy work, these charming new images portray fairies, playfully 'working-out' with the ingredients of each tea's infusion, as if with apparatus in a gym.
See if you can spot them, albeit larger than fairies might usually be seen, stretched across billboards and bus-stops all over the country!
Do you remember playing with a Thaumatrope when you were little? That spinning optical illusion, where a bird magically appears inside an empty cage on the opposite side of a card?
Well, AKQA have created 3 giant ones for Faberge! They appear as part of a beautiful window display at Harrods, and our very own Nabil Nezzar has created the illustrations!
These incredibly elegant pieces of work, featuring a selection of choice faberge pieces and a portrait of the lovely Miroslava Duma, were created entirely in pencil and had everyone in the office gobsmacked at how lifelike and intricate they were. Well done Nabil!
You can go and see them now, in motion at Harrods, as part of Faberge's Easter takeover of the store. Video to come soon!
