Peter Greenwood The Alibaba Seller Experience
Peter was invited to work with Alibaba in the creation of their 'Seller Experience', to support the companies website. Alibaba Group Holding Limited is a Chinese e-commerce company that provides consumer-to-consumer, business-to-consumer and business-to-business sales services via web portals.
In the support of their website, he was set a task to create a set of illustrations, from a character named Ming to buildings and icons.
These fun, energetic illustrations make a fantastic impact on the site and brand.
Anne Sharp Restoration Project
Anne Sharp, meticulously hand paints her artworks using acrylic paint, was recently commissioned to re-work an original piece of art to restore parts that has been amended.
It was hung a while ago, and the famous client and his wife received the piece well, with his wife even crying when she saw it - assured they were tears for the right reasons. When they originally found the painting, it was nearly black with age, so the image took a while to be revealed.
The client said "the Goddess Diana in the middle of the group looked like a nightclub bouncer. Someone had painted clothes on all the women, which couldn’t be fully removed when the studio cleaned the picture – and made a nonsense of the original classical myth, where Diana got dangerously annoyed when Actaeon saw her and her nymphs splashing about naked.”
Outstanding piece on all levels - enjoy this stunning piece!
Jason Brooks Asian Exhibition
Jason Brooks, our very own glamorous illustrator working with luxurious and aspirational brands took to Asia with his collaborative beauty exhibition with Ora2, showing in Tokyo and Singapore.
Over the last 18 months, Jason has been busy working on illustrated TV animations, print and online campaigns for Ora2, a toothpaste brand owned by Sunstar, aimed at young women in Japan and Asia.
The exhibitions were exclusive to 250 hand selected guests from media in Japan and Singapore, showcasing the work with Ora 2. They also included a separate area exhibiting Jason’s own personal work through prints and video screens, giving it a personal touch.
For each exhibition Jason was asked to appear on stage and address Japanese and Singapore media as well as create a live portrait in front of the audience while being interviewed about his work, life as a fashion illustrator and about the campaign.
Both exhibitions were well received and there is discussion of another collaboration in 2016 on the cards! Keep an eye out for more illustrated adventures for Yoko, Hikuru and Anna!
