Roger Watt

Roger Watt is a graphite artist who produces illustrations of extreme detail and technical competence. His style is photorealistic, but with an exaggerated contrast and clarity, which lends his images real punch. His work is used by clients to emphasize the craft and quality of their products. Roger's passion is exploring the inherent complexity of light reacting with metal surfaces using just the most basic of materials . . . pencil and paper. As total ownership of the creative process is of the utmost importance to him, each of his non-commissioned drawings is based on his own specifically shot reference photography. For his fine art work in British Columbia, Canada, he is represented by the Elliott Louis Gallery - of his new home town of Vancouver. www.elliottlouis.com
